O Gênio e as Rosas (The Genius and the Roses) has been published in Portugal

02/18/2010

O Gênio e as Rosas (The Genius and the Roses) has been published in Portugal by Vogais & Co., bringing together two prominent figures of Brazilian culture: Paulo Coelho and Mauricio de Sousa. First published in Brazil in 2004 by Editora Globo and starred by the characters of Turma da Mônica (Monica's Gang), the book consists of 24 short stories written by Coelho and beautifully illustrated by de Sousa. Since the stories take place in different times, the characters of Turma da Mônica (www.monica.com.br) play different roles in them.

Portuguese readers will now have the chance to appreciate the beautiful result of the union of these two Brazilian talents.
