The Genie and the Roses is a compilation of 24 popular tales that have been passed from parents onto their children.

Paulo Coelho has been in charge of writing the tales while the characters forming Mônica’s gang, created by Mauricio de Sousa, illustrate and give a magical touch to all the stories.
